Please come dressed in clothing your child can move in along with BALLET SHOES ON AND TAP SHOES IN HAND. You will receive your costume at the rehearsal. If you cannot attend, please notify Adrienne asap to arrange alternative costume pick-up.

SATurday JUNE 13th Recital Information

Program A: 10:30 a.m. TLCCA, SOFCA, TLA and LLIA
Program B: 2:00 p.m. KRK, IIAM, IPS and EPP

  • Arrive 30 minutes prior to your child's scheduled show. Tell the gate attendant you are there for the ILD! show at Centre Theatre. The theatre is not a stand alone building; it's located inside the Zaban-Blank building. When entering the main doors, turn to your left down the corridor and look for Centre Theatre.
  • Drop you child off at the doors to the right of the check-in table with an ILD! attendant. The attendant will take your child to the conference room holding area. There will be plenty of adults per group of child. Make sure your child:

a)Is dressed in costume (If enrolled in dance and tumbling please wear TUMBLING costume first) Please bring dance costume on a hanger with tights hanging on hanger as well. Hair should be in a low bun or styled neatly out of the face. Make-up is at parent's discretion

b) Dancers that are not tumblers: Has their ballet shoes on (ballet will be danced first), tap shoes, and pink or white tights, and a bag of some sort to keep things organized. Tumblers may come backstage without shoes. They will perform barefoot

c) LABEL ALL BELONGINGS- tights, ALL shoes, bag and dance/tumbling costume tags. Backstage is a hectic place, please help us keep up with your child's items.

d) Please take your child to the restroom before dropping them off with an attendant
e) 3-5th graders need: Black convertible tights, ballet shoes and costume. Light stage make-up is preferred. Hair needs to be in a low side bun if you can. A low bun will also work.

  • After the show, please gather in the lobby. We will line up your children with their props, trophy and belongings. Please do not come backstage- once we have achieved order and every child has their belongings, we will call families into the conference room beside the stage for pick-up. Please see a door attendant before you exit the room
  • Do not take flash photography while the children are on stage. It's very distracting when everyone does this at once. PLEASE REMAIN SEATED so everyone gets a good home video
  • Finally, please prepare your dancer/tumbler for the show, especially if you are not going to be at the rehearsal. Please make sure they know that backstage is a quiet place and not a time to play
Thanks so much for reading over this information and being prepared! Break a leg dancers and tumblers! – Miss Adrienne 404-492-0136
