Recitals
- An informal winter recital at your child’s learning center will be included cost free. Dancers and tumblers will wear their normal dance or tumbling attire for the winter recital. *This performance may also be held in conjunction with your learning center’s winter/Christmas/pageant or program.
- The formal, spring recital in June will be held at an outside location TBA within the Atlanta area. There will be a costume fee between $40.00- $65.00. You will keep the costume. ILD! only purchases costumes of quality, usually through Wolf Fording and Co. There is also a small house/trophy fee per dancer/tumbler, not to exceed $20.00. If your child is enrolled in more than one class, than only one house/trophy fee is required. Dance and gymnastics can be expensive and ILD strives to make lessons and recitals affordable.
- Parent volunteers for recitals and other performances are greatly needed each year and are rewarded with tuition discounts!!
Viewing Classes
- Parents are encouraged to come and watch a lesson or two when you can, however, please do not make a habit of attending class as it is a distraction to both your child and his or her classmates. Please notify your learning center’s front office before attempting to view a class.
